Hunt Telecommunications, Southern Light and InLine are now Uniti Fiber.

Uniti Group Inc. (“Uniti” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: UNIT) announced on July 3, 2017 the completion of its acquisitions of Southern Light, LLC (“Southern Light”) and Hunt Telecommunications, LLC (“Hunt”). Southern Light and Hunt will operate under the Uniti Fiber brand in its fiber infrastructure segment.

Existing customers will receive the same high quality level of service they’ve been accustomed to with Hunt Telecommunications and Southern Light. Customers will now have the support and backing of a long-term infrastructure company like Uniti. Additionally, both Hunt and Southern Light customers will have access to a larger network including more towers, buildings, and fiber routes. The combined companies now provide robust coverage in 21 states with access to more than 30,000 route miles and 1,162,000 fiber strand miles of network.

Uniti Fiber will be led jointly with Andy Newton, formerly Chief Executive Officer of Southern Light, serving as President Infrastructure and Operations, and Ron Mudry serving as President of Sales and Business Development. The executive team of Hunt will continue to have senior leadership positions in Uniti Fiber, particularly focused on E-rate, military and enterprise products and services. This structure will provide continuity to ensure an efficient integration while leveraging national and local sales channels and the operational expertise of our entire Uniti Fiber team.

In addition to Hunt and Southern Light, Uniti’s InLine division will begin to operate under the Uniti Fiber brand on July 11, 2017. InLine serves government and small-to- medium sized businesses in Alabama and Mississippi.
